Faj smiled at her
"your not going all serial killer on me are you ? " he said jokingly
Faj speeded up again and saw in the distance a small town it looked like

Jade smirked and said, "No, I'm going into pissed off Jade mode which is two levels below serial killer Jade." She laughed lightly.

Faj laughed as well
" i prefer the normal jade. Shes a lot more better lol "

Jade laughed and said, "You're the first person I've heard say that. Usually people prefer no Jade at all."

Faj smiled
"awwwww im sure they dont, you seem like a nice person "

Jade smiled sadly and said, "If you only knew.."

"if i only knew what ? "
He continued speeding through the road coming closer and closer to the town

Jade smiled and said, "Oh its nothing, just had a little flashback. Are we nearing a town?" She was trying to change the subject, she never really told anyone about her past.

"okay, and yeah we are , we're almost here "
Faj smiled and speeded up again coming ever so closer to the town before speeding through its entrance and skidding to a stop
"here we are "

Jade looked around at the small town and said, "Where is here exactly? I don't see the name of it anywhere." The townspeople looked at the two like they were aliens or something. Jade rolled her eyes and continued to search for a name.

"i dunno"
"ive never been to this place or any places like these i just woke up and found myself on a beach and i've just been travelling to find out where i was "
Faj stepped off thee nike and gave his hand to jade to help her off
"we should have a look around"

Jade smiled and took her hand, a slight blush forming on her face. "Yeah I guess we should, and you're not from here either huh? My friend's guardian isn't from around here either."

"yeah i ain't from here "
Faj started walking with jade looking around the town. He saw some kind of inn and said
"maybe we should go in there and see what they can tell us "

Jade nodded her head and they walked towards the little inn. "Everything is so small compared to where I came from. I don't know if I am from here or not, I'm from a place called Dalmasca and somehow I ended up here. I believe that they're connected somehow but I can't seem to find my way back." She said as they walked in.

"yeah i get the feeling this is an entirely different place from home "
Faj walked up to the owner and started talking to him. He came back to Jade with a map,
"well it seems we're at a little town at the Mi'ihen Highroad "
Faj pointed to the map showing jade where they were
