Squall held her back as she tried to run to the village. "We cant do anything yuna we will only get ourselfs killed..."

"No!" Yuna broke from Squall's grip, "We have to try something we can't just stay here!"

Yuna could hear the screams from the villagers as the monster called Sin destroyed everything in sight.

Squall wrapped his arms around her wasit and held her frimly. "I cant, let you die I love you."

Yuna froze. "What?"

Did he...did he just say...

"Squall?" Yuna looked up to his face.

"Hmm?" He averted his eyes from her and stared at the village or whats left of it as SIN started to leave.

Yuna wiped her tears and looked to the bay. It was true...Sin was leaving.
But...Yuna looked to Squall. "Squall...did you..."
Was it her imagination?...
"I...I...love...." Yuna swallowed. Her hands tightened around Squall's arm.

Squall didn't seem to react...Yuna closed her mouth.

Squall looked down into her bi colored eyes and gave one of his rare smiles.

A smile slowly crept to her face. Yuna turned herself facing Squall and held him close,"I'm...not going to die here...don't worry."
Holding him tightly, Yuna's words were happy, but at the same time sad.

"Heh, I wouldint let you anyway.."

Just then a crying villager came up to Yuna and asked to do a sending.
Yuna let go slowly of Squall and bowed, "Of course."

Looking to Squall, she motioned him to follow her back to the village and the two walked back down the stairs.
