Faj walked over to the entrance of this fortress and pressed a button on a key of his. The entrance made a creaking noise and then slowly opened kicking up sand as it opened. He stepped inside and pressed another button as the lights lit up, slowly illuminating all parts of the fortress. Faj placed his sword to the side of him and walked over to a workstation and started to boot up the other main systems of the fortress.

As soon as the other main systems came online Faj stood up and viewed the main screen looking at the stats and security of the base. He started modfying the security protocol and sat back down in the chair and continued to monitor the other systems.

Yuna wondered as she stood outside Home how she was going to get to see her uncle Cid?

Faj started the monitorign screens and all of them slowly activated. He looked at the different screens showing the outside of the base. He saw a lone person in one of the monitors holding a sort of staff
"wonder who that is? "
Faj got up and picked up his sword placing it on his back as he pressed a switch again as the entrance opened up and he went out towards the person

Yuna saw a person headed towards her.
??? She couldn't see him clearly yet, but she still went all out and yelled.
"Excuse me! I'm looking for Cid!"

Faj continued walking looking at this person
"erm....theres no cid here. Theres nobody else here, its only me. This place has been abondoned for yearrs it seems. " He shouted back
"who are you ? "

"What?" Yuna frowned, "But, that can't be, there should be Albhed here."
Yuna looked down, "There's no one here? What happened to the other?"

"al bhed ?"

Faj said as he looked confused
" i dunno what happened i just found a key on me and it opened this place up for me, so i've been staying here and just slowly restoring the place up . I'm Faj by the way "

Yuna seemed distressed, "I'm...Yuna..."
What happened to her family?
"So you've been living here...oh, Um, nice to meet you."

"yeah nice to meet you too. I'm sure they aint in trouble, the place didnt look damaged or anything, just cleared. They may have got a new base , the people your looking for ."
Faj noticed a sandstorm brewing in the distance
"would you like to come in ? "

Yuna looked to the distance and saw the storm coming.
"I guess I should. Yes, thank you" She said with a smile.

"no problem " he said back as he turned around and walked into the entrance
"so whats with that staff ? "
His head inclined towards the staff yuna was carrying

"Hm?" Yuna looked to her own weapon
"It's my fighting weapon. I'm a summoner."
Realizing that most summoner's didn't really have staffs, she gave a nervous laugh, "It helps calm myself down..."

"oh okay , whats a summoner ? " he said confused.
He led yuna into the base and clicked on the switch which closed the entrance as he walked back up to the monitors and checked the base was sturfy enough for the storm

"You don't know?"Yuna said a bit surprised. "Do you know what 'Sin' is?"
