Zera had gotten to Beside via a small ferry from Thunder Plains. He felt the brisk winds in his face and the sun shining down. He humed a tune, and his halbred on his shoulder. He had a grin on his face as started ti walk around.

Lucrecia looked at Zeratuel, and smiled for the first time.

Zeratuel doesn't notice a girl smiling at him. He stops for a little bit putting his halbredaway nd leaning agaist a fence. He starts writing something in a small blue book with the word Reemeber on it. He still humes his tune and tapped on of his feet on the fence.

Lucrecia looked at Zeratuel. "Hi I'm Lucrecia Crescent I'm an Al Bhed who is also a summoner and I want you to be my guardian." Lucrecia said.

Zeratuel burst out in laughter and her question. "Ha ha ha ha what kind of stupid joke is this. Do go around asking everybody you meet hoping some dumb person would accept." Zera said not even looking up at her from his book.

Lucrecia just look at him. "Zeratuel, I want you to become my guardian." Lucrecia said.

"Ok besides that the fact thats stupid to just go around asking someone. Why would you want me to stoop myself as something as dumb as a guardian." He said while he put his little blue book away looking at her with narrowed eyes.

"Just because I like you." Lucrecia said.

"Now that sounds a little creepy like you've been stalking me or something. If your not gonna speak since then buzz off twerp." He said with a grin as he turned climbing on the small fence looking at the veiw of the ocean. Feeling relaxed by it.

Lucrecia looked hurt and started crying and she slipped.

Kai was by his side, and spoke to him. "Hey, man, relax. She's an Al Bhed summoner; she aint used to our customs."

Lucrecia just sat there.

"It an Al Bhed custom to pester people they don't even know into bring their guardian i've been to Al Bhed villages before and this would be the first time it was asked to me. I actually think I was being pretty nice knowing there are alot of people who don't like Al Bhed. I'm just a mean person at heart."

"Kai please stop." Lucrecia said.
