History: 1000 years ago, in Zanarkand,
there arose a great war between Bevel and Zanarkand called, the
machina war. A young songstess who was also a summoner was called into the front lines. Her name was Lenne.
She was Shuyin's lover.
Shuyin hated the thought of losing her and was disgusted at the thought that they would call her to the front lines. The war was waging so terribly that it summoned the malevolant creature known as Sin.
He tried to stop her and talk her into not going but, she put her duty as a summoner before all else.
That's when word got to him about Bevel's secret weapon,
known as Vegnagun. He rushed to Bevel to use it against them.
There he was captured and placed in the cell blocks.
"Take me to her!
I want to see the summoner!"
"This war isnt over yet because Zanarkand refuses to surrender!"
"If you'd stop attacking, there wouldn't be a war!"
Shuyin sat in his cell in thought as he muttered the words,
"Someday... your precious weapon will end up destroying you..."
"Shut up!"
Days have passed.
Shuyin planned his escape.
He waited for the guard to come by then knocked him out and stole the keys.
He knew he didn't have much time until they found he was gone.
So, he rushed down to the underground to find the weapon.
The alarm was set off but, he kept running.
There it was....
The colosal Vegnagun.
"You're going to help me end this war..."
He got into the control area and started playing the keyboard to activate it
when Lenne came running into the room saying,
"Stop!"
Shuyin rushed down to hug her when the guards caught up to them.
Shuyin looked at them in defiance as they opened fire on them.
Lenne and Shuyin fell to the ground.
Darkness overcame him as Lenne's last words never reached his ears.
He now lives his life for vengiance toward Spira.
He wants nothing more than to share his dispair with all.
Sometimes he can still act humane.
